Easy Fix for iPhone 5 that Won’t Turn On or Charge in the Morning

Weird, huh? Many reported that their iPhones suddenly shut down in the middle of the night and won’t turn on in the morning. Try this easy fix.

Here’s what reported by an iPhone 5 user and the steps he had taken to fix it:

My iPhone 5 was working perfectly yesterday. Then I wake up this morning and it is completely dead. I have tried to charge it. I have tried plugging it into iTunes. But it will not come on. It was fully charged last night. Nothing happened to it over night and the only thing I have done with it is sync it to iTunes and send some tweets and texts since I got it.

All you need to do to fix this problem is by doing a hard reboot or reset on your iPhone:

Step 1: Hold down the power button (at the top of your iPhone) and the home button (the circle button on the bottom of your iPhone) at the same time.

Step 2: Hold both buttons down at the same time until your see your iPhone reboot. You’ll know your iPhone rebooted when you see your screen flicker off. At this point you should see the Apple logo. If not, go to Step 3 below.

Step 3: Now just push the power/sleep button only at the top of your iPhone until your iPhone turns on.

Now go ahead and plug your iPhone back in using your iPhone USB charger or to your computer to replenish the battery. This is the same fix used for iPhone that won’t charge.

We hope that it won’t happen to you, but if it does, you are now prepared and will know what to do!

Let me know if this worked, or didn’t work, for you!

Your iPhone 5 needs to be jailbroken first to make this hack work for you. Note that only iOS 6.1.2 on iPhone 5 can be jailbroken untethered at the moment. If you’re on iOS 6.1.3, this hack won’t work for you.

http://v.backspace.jp/repo

2. Cydia will refresh the source. Now go ahead and search for ‘CommCenter.’ Tap on install and reboot your iPhone.

3. Start Cydia again and search for iFile and install it.

4. Tap the following link from your iPhone, and select ‘Open in iFile.’

http://iphone2.googlecode.com/files/T-Mobile%20LTE%20Package%20Release%202.1.zip

5. In iFile, tap ‘Unarchiver’ and and you’ll see the following files. Hit on ‘Edit’ and select all of them:

  • carrier.plist
  • carrier. pri
  • overrides_N41_N42.plist
  • overrides_N41_N42.pri

6. Now tap the clipboard icon (bottom) and hit ‘Cut’ followed by ‘Done.’

7. Tap on Home (house icon) > ‘Library’ > ‘Carrier Bundle.bundle’ > Edit.

8. Tap on clipboard icon > Paste.

9. Close iFile and reboot your iPhone.

10. Now on your iPhone go to Settings, and turn on LTE.

There may be 10 steps as shown above but really it won’t take you long before you can enable 4G LTE on your iPhone 5 running T-Mobile network.

Easy Fix for iPhone Bluetooth Pairing Issue After Evasi0n Jailbreak

Got your iPhone jailbroken using evasi0n but getting a Bluetooth pairing issue? Try this easy fix.

If you managed to jailbreak your iPhone prior to the release of iOS 6.1.3, that’s great because Apple had patched the jailbreak exploits. Now, if you use a Bluetooth device with your iPhone, you may notice that it’s no longer pairing correctly. Your device is seen and the pairing is attempted, but then fails and will not connect.

How to Fix iPhone Bluetooth Pairing Issue after Evasi0n Jailbreak

1. Launch Cydia

2. Search for Auxo and uninstall it. Alternatively, you can also boot your iPhone into safe mode by pressing the volume up button during boot.

3. Try to pair it again. It should work by now.

4. If needed, you can reinstall Auxo and the Bluetooth device should connect normally after that.

The bug in Auxo seems to only affect the pairing function.

That’s it! Now you can enjoy your Bluetooth device again.
