Untethered Jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1 with Greenpois0n Absinthe

Finally the wait is over. The untethered jailbreak for A5 based devices running on iOS 5.0.1 is now available with a tool called Greenpois0n Absinthe.
This tool was released a few hours ago by Chronic Development Team, with the collaboration of Pod2g and the iPhone Dev Team. Absinthe is a French word which is historically described as a distilled, highly alcoholic beverage. Since Pod2g is French, this can be the reason why this word was chosen.
Currently, it’s now only available for Mac but Windows and Linux version should be available any time soon.
Before you begin, you need to make sure that your device is already running iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1. Backing up your device is highly recommended.
Steps
1. Download Greenpois0n Absinthe for Mac, Windows or Linux.
2. Connect your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 to your computer.
3. Launch Absinthe and click jailbreak. It may take a while so just sit back and wait.
4. Once done you will see the Absinthe icon on your springboard or home screen.
5. Connect to WiFi and tap on Absinthe. It may take a while to download all Cydia files as the server may be very busy. If you get an error message simply try again.
That’s it! You should now have Cydia installed and enjoy installing all your favorite jailbreak apps!

Absinthe is not working on my macbook running osX snow leopard. So i tried to jail break with windows using Absinthe CLI 0.4.3 and im getting error "fatal(__LINE__): assertion failed (1266): got == sizeof(size)". Tried erasing all settings and contents, and restoring from the 5.0.1 firmware and also i have tried with three different ipad2's. I keep getting the same message. Please find solution for this.

Nobody knows for sure. The latest news came from @Applenberry, on the 25th of January, saying that "For everyone that asked about modem firmware 4.11.08. YES we are working on it. We are also working on iPhone 4S unlock." But they didn't reveal any Estimated Time of Arrival for the unlock. None of the previous rumors have been confirmed yet, so at this stage, nobody knows if any other unlock will surface.

Hi I have an iPhone 3GS on an iPad baseband and my gps dosent work it’s iOS 5 iv been looking everywhere to fix this but can’t find nothing that works does anyone know how to fix this or downgrade it to another baseband?
Any advice would be great
