If you are one of the many iPhone users who have upgraded to iPad’s baseband 6.15.00 using redsn0w and having battery drain, GPS and other issues – here’s a good news – the ability to downgrade your baseband from 6.15.00 to an earlier baseband version may be available soon. This was confirmed by @MuscleNerd on replying a tweet question by a user.

i have iphone 3g 8GB 3.1.3 firmware baseband 6.15.00 my wi-fi is grayed out and showing no wi-fi what to do. i've done everything re jailbreak , reset , reboot but still no sucess help please..

i have the same problem. after upgrade to 4.2.1 and 6.15, i can no longer search any wifi signal at home or at school or even in a cafeteria or restaurants. im on an iphone 3g 16gb. i wish you can help us.

yeah. definitely sir. it was really working cool before with my blackra1n jailbroken iphone 3g with 3.1.2 now im on bb 6.15 and 4.2.1 … the battery drains fast, cannot find wifi everywhere.
A visitor to this website had the same issue yesterday, he re-flashed the baseband and fixed it
try 802.11b on your router. its work for me now

I updated to 06.15.00 before I knew my iPhone was terminally sick and now I've voided the warranty. If I downgrade the baseband on my 3Gs to something stock, will I be able to bring my iphone into apple and return it? or will the be able to tell I've cracked it before?

Need urgent help for an 3gs/4.2.1/ipad BB. I have an iphone whose bb was 05.15.05. I used the 4.2.1 fw to upgrade and then used redsn0w to update the ipad bb and jailbreak it. The phone came up with network and is working fine. However, I can find a few problems with it:
-Push doesnt work at all. I have installed push doctor **mod edit: please don't post repos containing warez**
-The phone crashes a lot more times than expected.
-Applications like fontswap when opened, they crash and the screen comes back to the lockscreen.
I read a few posts around where in it talks about downgrading the phone to 4.1 and then using tiny umbrella to kick out of the recovery mode etc.
I would like to know if that will help me fix the problems? Also I would like to know if there will be a fix for the ipad bb problems around?

i restore it as per advice, but i can't jailbreak it..it said redsnow can't determine firmware..i from malaysia how can i unlock the carrier because i use ultrasnow before this and the problem mentioned above happen..
what version of redsn0w and you wanna restore to what firmware version?
Sorry to bother, i'm aslo has no idea right now what firmware version i wanna restore,i aslo try to upgrade to 4.2.1 but it stuck it stuck at itunes logo, when i try to kick to recovery nothing change….right now my iphone at firmware 4.1, bb 6.15..jailbreak with redsnow 0.9.6b4… what i think right now is how to make the phone unlock for any carrier..i already installed with ultrasnow 1.2 but it happen as i said above..when i insert sim it will hang and reboot then searching back to network carrier..i just can use WiFi only…That is my problem i hope can u can suggest/advice my what firmware and version of redsnow that i can use to unlock the carrier…or i need to wait for downgrade?? is it already on 3.1.3 but not jailbroken and unlocked? You can use redsn0w 0.9.3, and then point to firmware 3.1.2 when doing the jailbreak

My iPhone 3Gs JB 4.2.1 (06.15.00) lost GPS completly.

I too upgraded from 3.1.2 to 4.2.1 and BB 06.15.00. Cant use 3GS at all now and the battery goes down quicker than a pro's draws but everything else seems ok.

try using redsn0w to pawn dfu mode, and restore using custom firmware, did you save your SHSH before? You need to edit your host file

u can easily come back on 4.1 but the baseband will stay the same 6.15 just download firmware 4.1 put it on the desktop put ur phone in dfu mode then select the firmware on desktop after installing firmware it'll give error just start tinyambrella and with it just press on exit from dfu mode u r done but with bb 6.15
If it is cannot be done, so be with it !!! Pls come out with a statement that bb 6.15 cannot be downgraded. Don give me hope and no news after that.
