There’s still hope for iPhone 4 users on baseband 4.11.08. A new Turbo SIM (not Gevey!) to unlock baseband 4.11.08 is rumored to be released at an unknown date.
I’ve been living in China for 8 years and one of the best things about being here is that you’re close to the factories of the world. One of my sources from a factory somewhere in China sent me this photo today which is rumored to be the unlock for iPhone 4′s baseband 4.11.08.
Apple updated the iPhone 4′s baseband to 4.11.08 with iOS 5 which blocked any Gevey Turbo SIM from functioning. At this stage, the only possible solution is to replace the baseband and NOR chips which I posted about 2 weeks ago.

looks like Richard doesn't wanna to welcome the new turbo, he likes keep his business with the BB replacement going on.
in fact I prefer the turbo SIM solution, it reduces overhead and work replacing those chips on the 4, and will help us speed up repairs on 3G and 3GS boards
Which is quite understandable, they perhaps will gain quite alot more profit from selling these "turbo sims" than the actual baseband replacement service, check fb google and twitter, literally thousands of users upgraded to 4.11.08 and would more than likely poney up $$$ for a new "turbo sim"

Gevey (applenberry) is too proud of their stuff, even when better Gevey was released (Gevey Blue) they keep saying don't buy them

Apparently there is a new turbo sim available to unlock 04.11.08 I don't know of its validity yet due to this being the only report I can find on it. It's called Geve Red Pro. Every one cross your fingers on this.
i'm 100% sure it's a fake… look at the package/pouch it was edited… the letters don't have the same color…

I back up the doubts just by analyzing the picture shown. The text "IPHONE 4S/4 IOS 5/5.01 SUPPORTED" is not even centered which probably indicates a poor photoshop job over the previously known red Gevey turbo. I flag it as a scam.

well the unlock will only be good for certain Basebands when it comes out, would you rather a have a fully unlocked phone and not have to worry about baseband upgrades again or do you want a phone that you always have to make sure you dont upgrade the Baseband.

You can see that they unlock 04.11.04 bb But not the 04.11.08 bb.
