Weird, huh? Many people reported that their iPhone 6 suddenly shut down in the middle of the night and won’t turn on in the morning. Try this easy fix.
Here’s what reported by an iPhone 6 user and the steps he had taken to fix it:
My iPhone 6 was working perfectly yesterday. Then I wake up this morning and it is completely dead. I have tried to charge it. I have tried plugging it into iTunes. But it will not come on. It was fully charged last night. Nothing happened to it over night and the only thing I have done with it is sync it to iTunes and send some tweets and texts since I got it.
All you need to do to fix this problem is by doing a hard reboot or reset on your iPhone 6:
Step 1: Hold down the power button (at the side of your iPhone) and the home button (the circle button on the bottom of your iPhone) at the same time.
Step 2: Hold both buttons down at the same time until your see your iPhone reboot. You’ll know your iPhone rebooted when you see your screen flicker off. At this point you should see the Apple logo. If not, go to Step 3 below.
Step 3: Now just push the power/sleep button only at the top of your iPhone until your iPhone turns on.
Go ahead and plug your iPhone back in using your iPhone USB charger or to your computer to replenish the battery.
This is the same fix used for iPhone that won’t charge.
We hope that it won’t happen to you, but if it does, you are now prepared and will know what to do!
Let me know if this worked, or didn’t work, for you!
