The updated version of redsn0w 0.9.7b1 was released over the Christmas weekend but currently in Beta.

@MuscleNerd encouraged those who have these requirements to participate in the testing. Although it has successfully jailbroken iOS 4.2.1, there are still many bugs that need to be fixed. Nonetheless, it was a great effort from the iPhone Dev Team to be able to jailbreak this latest iOS.

Some iPhone Touch users discovered that their device rebooted itself as soon as they launched iTunes. Cydia and other apps seem to work without any issue. Bluetooth not functioning correctly has been acknowledged by the iPhone Dev Team even before redsn0w 0.9.7b1 was released.

There are additional steps involved to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 but it is not that complicated. We will wait until the jailbreak is more stable then we will publish the steps here.
